Spring Public Skating
A new public skating schedule is now available for March 1 through June 14!
We've added Tuesday and Thursday evening sessions!
Download the schedule below. Always check the daily schedule before coming to the rink as sessions are subject to change without notice.
Recess at the Rink
Recess at the Rink is a special type of public skating session for 2-8 year olds plus an adult! This is a great way to introduce young and inexperienced skaters to the ice! Kids can play with beanie babies, foam hockey pucks, small sticks & nets - plus we've got skating assistants to help on-ice! An adult is not required to skate with a child, but are welcome.
Admission is $7 per child and includes skate rental. ONE adult can skate for free with each child. Each additional adult will be charged at an additional $7.
If you have your own hockey stick or toys you'd like to bring, please do so!
Gloves are strongly recommended for ALL skaters (kids and adults). Helmets are encouraged for kids. KCI can not loan gear.
This session (like all KCI programs) is subject to a capacity limit. This is a popular program, so please arrive early to avoid disappointment. Always check the daily schedule for the most update times.
Please note: KCI is no longer able to provide buckets to skaters. We are no longer able to offer free hot chocolate as part of recess at the rink.
Kettler offers year-round public skating daily. You can download the schedule below or check the online schedule for daily times. All times are subject to change without notice. All public skate sessions are subject to capacity limits.

Broomball is like playing hockey in your sneakers! Use our special broomball sticks and break into teams for a fun game for kids and adults. Broomball is most appropriate for ages 8 or 9 and up (including adults), but younger kids may play.
Participants should wear closed-toe shoes (sneakers are best), layered clothing (it gets hot running around the ice), and HELMETS (a bike, ski, or hockey helmet is fine)! Some participants choose to wear other protective gear such a knee pads or elbow pads.
Broomball is $10 per person and includes broomball stick rental.
KCI can not loan out helmets or other gear.
Unlike other programs, we can take reservations for broomball. Please email events@KettlerCapitalsIceplex.com with your contact information, session time, and approximate number of attendees. Please still plan to arrive early to the broomball session. All programs are subject to a capacity limit. Passes go on sale 30 minutes before each session begins. Check the daily schedule before coming to the rink.
