SHSA SUMMER FREESTYLE CAMP - We are offering a figure skating summer development program for Freestyle skaters this summer. This half-day morning camp incorporates on- and off-ice activities as well as open freestyle sessions. Skaters should be at a Freestate 1 level or higher.
SUMMER FUN SKATING CAMPS are a great way to escape the summer heat while learning new skills in a safe and fun environment. We offer summer camps for skaters of all levels. Each week centers around a new theme but the goal remains the same....FUN!!! Skating experience is preferred, but beginners are welcome for Tiny Tots and LTS Fun Camp. Hockey 101 skaters must have passed Snowplow Sam 3 or Basic 2 before the first day of camp.
Three types of Summer Fun Skating Camps are available:
Tiny Tots Learn-to-Skate Fun Camp (Ages 4-6)
SUMMER FUN PERFORMANCE CAMP This full-day camp will bring out the STAR in every skater! Ages 6 & up are welcome. Skating experience preferred, but not required. Recreational skaters, figure skaters, and hockey skaters are welcome! Create sets, costumes, and routines and perform for your friends and family at the end of each week!
HOCKEY CAMPS Our Capitals Academy Summer Camps are designed to develop and enhance your hockey skills through drills, practice, small games, and chalk talks. This is your chance to train where the pros train! All hockey camps require players to have skating experience and their own hockey equipment. For a complete list of hockey equipment, click here.
